Hello.

I am currently an Assistant Professor of English at Williams College.

I am a former University of California President’s Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of English at UC Berkeley. I earned my PhD in African American Studies at the UC Berkeley with a Designated Emphasis in Women, Gender and Sexuality.  My areas of interest include African diaspora theory, asexuality, failure and freedom. My book manuscript is titled, Ordinary Failures. 

I earned my BA in Africana Studies from CUNY Hunter College. While at Hunter, I organized with a Freirean activist group called All City and worked for the Audre Lorde Project.
